Intro & New Features

The Warrior Alpha Surge Goalie Blocker is designed for pinpoint rebound control, the high-curve profile features a flat face through the lower two-thirds of the board to deliver fast, predictable puck deflection every time. The upper curvature cuts the angle and eliminates pucks just passing above the blocker.

External Material

Warrior uses the JenPro material on the outer construction of this catcher. This durable material provides the blocker with a reliable and solid outer build, and it helps keep the blocker in shape for longer. JenPro is a trusted material and is found on a wide variety of equipment because of its reliability, appearance, and overall performance that it provides.

Internal Construction

The Alpha Surge blocker keeps a similar shape to previous models, but with some minor adjustments. The board is now thicker with a 20° shape to help boost rebound speed, and the adjusted composition contributes to the overall lightweight design. The Hypercomp reinforced construction is made up of carbon fiber and is designed to enhance durability while helping a bit with rebound responsiveness.

Side Hand Protection

Warrior’s Hypercomp reinforcement has been added to the blocker and side hand. This reinforcement is made up of carbon fiber and is designed to enhance durability while helping out a bit with rebound responsiveness. The blocker also features molded finger protection to keep the fingers protected from impacts.

Cuff Design

The Alpha Surge blocker features an open cuff design. The open cuff configuration enhances range of motion for quick saves and confident puckhandling. Whether deflecting with precision or executing breakout passes, this design keeps the wrist free and tactical play sharp.

Palm Material

Warrior constructed this blocker to use a Pro Palm X palm material. Tested and trusted by pros, the removable Ax Suede palm with additional printed grip combines premium feel with long-lasting durability.
