Beauty of jewelry depicts the Wajima Bijou Coral attenuation in the form of Sailor writing instrument!

The Sailor Wajima Collection uses the Wajima lacquering technique to create pens with a unique striped lacquer appearance. A technique dating as far back as 1397, Wajima involves as many as 124 individual steps, with the successive application and polishing of layers of lacquer making a uniquely fine finish. The body and cap of the pen are finished with colored lacquer, mother-of-pearl, and gold powder hand painted by Mr. Takuya Hino, a Wajima lacquer artisan. The nib is a large 21K Sailor.  This collection is limited to 600 units worldwide, half Coral Red, and half Sapphire Blue. The ring of the cap features each pen's number out of the 300 produced in its color.  Pen Boutique is lucky to offer you this piece of art! 

Sailor has made a new design for their nibs. The pens which are produced from January 2022 onwards will have the new-design nib. The difference between the old nib and the new nib:

1. New nib does not have '1911' engraved on it
2. New design of the anchor
3. New design of the "SAILOR" engraving below the anchor
4. The 'H' letter (abbreviation of 'Hard') is removed from the nib size indicator on the left side of the new nib 

Depending on the availability of our stock, you may receive the old Sailor nib design or the new Sailor nib.
