In this volume Stipe, together with writer and artist Douglas Coupland, questions how analogue culture, which represents our past, interacts with digital culture, our present and future.moreFrom a visual point of view, for Stipe this interweaving is synthesized in what in the graphic field is called a moiré effect and literally an interference. The images presented in the book come from the vast archive taken by Michael Stipe. In a kaleidoscope of pixels and halftones, the book alternates visual memories of the past with traces of a new memory still in progress.
