Germany, NSDAP. A Rare 1939 Edition of Mein Kampf, Special Issue for the 50th Birthday of AH, with Case and Postcards

A rare and exceptional special issue of Mein Kampf, constructed of a heavy card stock binding, the cover being a gilded and embossed title topped by a sword, the spine featuring an additional gilded title and author’s name situated over a red field, topped by sunwheel-style swastika, opening to reveal a black-and-white portrait of AH in profile, situated above a facsimile signature and protected by a fully-intact wax paper liner, followed by 705 paginated off-white pages featuring both volume’s of the seminal biographical and ideological text of AH and the NSDAP in clear Fraktur script, supplemented by reproduced posters from the early period of the movement, issued in 1939 by the main publishing house of the NSDAP in Munich (Franz Eher Nachfolger) in celebration of the 50th birthday of AH, measuring 17 cm (w) x 24 cm (h) and retaining its original card stock storage case, a scarce luxury version which demonstrates moderate material fatigue and remains in an extremely fine condition; accompanied by three period postcards, with one depicting a portrait of AH in profile, one depicting him accepting flowers from Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM) members, and one depicting him accepting flowers from a group of Deutsches Jungvolk (DJ) and non-uniformed children, the reverse of each unused, all measuring 10.5 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), in overall near mint condition.
