The 1940 Ford Coupe (Ford Coupe 1940 for short) was an American civilian passenger car that today could be classified as a middle class car from the Second World War. The drive was provided by a single, 8-cylinder Ford Flathead engine with a capacity of 60 HP. The Ford Coupe 1940 was created to replace the previous year's Coupe in the Ford Motor Company offer. Compared to its predecessor, it differed primarily in the design of the body and body.
